Whenever a resident is added to your property management system (Resman, Yardi, Realpage, etc) we automatically pull them into Zego and start sending them emails to activate their account (as long as they have a valid email in the management system you're using). They'll typically get 5-6 emails and texts over 30 days reminding them to activate their account.
You can also manually send a reminder activation email from the web portal by clicking the "+" next to resident users on the unit page (see below), as well as from the users list.
To resend an inactive resident their activation email (the email that contains their link to create their account and download the Zego Resident App) follow these steps:
- Go to your property home page and then navigate to the Users page for your property.
- Once you are on the Users page, search for the user you would like to activate by first name, last name, or email.
- After you locate the user, click the green button with the "+" symbol to the left of their name.
- You can also invite residents from their unit page by clicking the "invite all" button to the right of Inactive Users or the green "+" to the right of each resident's name if you need to invite only specific residents.
